  I have spent a considerable amount of time on the web tonight just searching for cool web generators.  I am so thankful that their are computer smarties out there that are willing to create code and programs that make it easy for the rest of us to do cool stuff on the web.  I suppose I am a bit of a nerd to have actually searched for this stuff, but.....I enjoy being able to use these tools in my creative journey.  I also like to use them to make my blog interesting.  So, I have decided to share some cool tools with you.  You may or may not be interested in one or none.  Just take a look... I finally bought my first ipod ! For several years I have wanted one. I just could not bring myself to spend over $200.00 on one (for me that is). Both of the kids and the hubby had one though. (Hello, my name is Lesley Chandler and I am a poor abused/neglected mother and wife... LOL ). I have known about podcasts for some time now and always thought that if I ever get myself an iPod that I would love podcasts ....TRUE THAT!!! Oh, first let me say that I was wrong about the price! Not all of the iPods are that expensive. They vary in terms of space and price. More space....more price. So, I got an Ishuffle for only 45.00 at walmart which says it has enough space for about 250 songs ( I believe that is what it said). So I bought it. I could not wait to get home and download Itunes . After I got all that done, I downloaded some of my favorite music using my Paypal account....YES, isn't that great?...they accept Paypal . Then, I clicked on the PODCAST section. Then ART (oh yes) ...

Happy Sunday! I found this fun little online generator and just had to make one. I can't help myself sometimes. I'm planning on making some more valentines today. Oh the possibilities are endless. I have to get my swap loot ready for Pocket Full of Pretty's Valentines swap and I have several special friends/family that I need to get Valentines ready for. So, there is plenty to do.....I think my creative funk has lifted.....oh Look Out Craft Room!

I have an inexpensive Christmas gift idea for an interesting and personal piece of art. Here is a picture of the one I just created. The photo probably does not do it justice. Here are the instructions: 1. Go to your word processor-like Word or Works and type in words that are meaningful to the person for whom the gift is being made....I typed in our family names, dogs names, hobbies, etc-and then copy the text to the clipboard 2. Go to Worlde this link here 3. Click in the "paste in a bunch of text" box and paste your text from your clipboard 4. click the "Go" underneath the box 5. Look at what you made! Then, you can change it up using the buttons.....just play around until you get what you like. 6. Print it out on photo paper 7. Use that print out for your art 8. Or, go to copy shop and get a larger copy 9. Buy a frame-I got mine at Michaels and used my 40% off coupon 10. Wrap it up- Wala- Beautiful and thoughtful art gift....Yay for you

I found this other great site where you can generate your own typography. Go HERE ! Here are a few of mine that I created this morning. After you create yours, you can save them and print them out and add them as a back ground or whatever to your creative journal. One more and I will stop-for now! This one is fun too! I have had so much fun playing around with all the fun tools available for tweaking your photos. I created this one this morning. Yes, that is what it would look like if I was a famous artist. They will come for miles and miles to view my art-(insert sigh here) heehee. This tool can be found at http://www.dumpr.net/ It would be easier to do if you had a flickr account. I'm almost finished with my kitchen project. I still have to put a poly finish on the cabinets and I need a few more little doodads to put up on the walls. It was a hard pr0ject mostly because of the border scraping I spoke of last time. NEVER AGAIN!!! JUST SAY NO TO BORDER. I have had the last 4 days off from work. My husband and son went on a little trip together so it was just me and my daughter.
